Cape Town (South Africa)

Cape Town (South Africa)

Cape Town, Africa’s number one tourist destination…
Voted TripAdvisor's Top Destination in the 2011 Traveller's Choice Destination

Why is Cape Town the hot favourite? In a word, abundance! ‘Abundance how?’ you ask…
Well the city has such wow-factor tucked in the lieu of flat topped Table Mountain, and being the southern tip of Africa, the horn of the Cape Peninsula is a ragged mountain range interspersed with dazzling white beaches, mountain passes and the lightest blue ocean.

Tour South Africa (guided tour)

Cape Town is touted as the Mediterranean of South Africa, not only for its Mediterranean climate but also because of the Cape’s vibe… cosmopolitan chic, sidewalk cafes, outstanding restaurants aplenty, an internationally acclaimed Wine Route, and the city is noted for her beautiful people. Cape Town has outstanding beaches, fantastic shopping, and arts and culture flourish in this place of beauty.

There literally is a holiday for everyone, families, honeymoon romance, enthusiasts of the outdoors and nature and if you considering marrying abroad, Cape Town and her Wine Route has got to be one of the most romantic destinations on the planet.

Cape Town is the heart of the Western Cape Province of South Africa. The Western Cape covers a vast area of landscapes and environments with a number of tourist routes to head out from the city centre, to experience a tantalising slice of South African hospitality… read more

Cape Town Day Tours

Cape Town is a city where you can ‘do it all yourself’ but we would suggest taking a couple of day tours, as its always a great whilst on holiday to have someone else worry about your logistics and just tag along for the day, discovering interesting anecdotes and historical facts about a country/destination, and taking in the highlights of the city of Cape Town and her surrounds. Our recommendations that will cover the basics are a Winelands Tour, a Peninsula Tour and a township tour with a visit to Robben Island (either as an appedange to the tour or you can ‘do it’ on your own steam). You can either join a scheduled day tour departure, or at a surcharge enjoy a private day tour. Private tours allow for more flexibility and can be tailor made to suit your interests. Cape Town holiday packages

Depending on how much time you have to holiday in Cape Town, it is easy to combine both the city and her Wine Route. For the first time visitor these are the ‘essential’ destinations, however there are a number of alternatives which are exciting options as well, for instance to base yourself in Kalk Bay, up and coming 'trend' destination, alternatively Noordhoek is a great option with a long-legged stretch of coastline flanked on one side by the ocean and on the other by wetlands, or how about at the base of Chapmans Peak or Hout Bay – all these areas are ‘out’ of the city centre to be away from the bustle if that’s what you would prefer, with picturesque natural settings, yet close enough to the city of Cape Town to ‘ad’venture out each day.

Cape Town Holiday Packages
Take a look at our selection of Cape Town holiday packages – the hotels are all within the hub of Cape Town, in and around the city centre. It is easy for us to ‘tack on’ a few nights in the Cape Winelands to any of these pacakges.
